    Your Role

    This is a full-time on-site position based in Zurich for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) role at CycleLab AG. The COO will lead daily operations, oversee business planning, manage budgets, and ensure seamless operational processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other leadership to drive growth strategies and maintain financial health, while owning process improvements and optimizing overall efficiency at CycleLab.

    Who we're looking for

    • Experience in managing and developing an operational business

    • Proven track record in implementing effective processes in a production or service environment

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making capabilities

    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on attitude

    • Fluency in German and English; French is an advantage

    • Experience in the cycling or service industry is a plus

  • As a bike mechanic “on call” you will support the CycleLab team in Zürich when they need additional resources. You can work flexible hours and you focus on getting stuff done. If you are studying and want to live your passion for bikes at the same time - this is your perfect side gig!

    The team repairs a large number of different e-bikes and bio bikes each day and brings them to excellent condition, providing CycleLab’s customers with a high-quality service.

    What you will do

    You will carry out the entire repair process of a bike and ensure that the bikes are returned in excellent condition.

    You will work with your teammates in a well-equipped workshop in Zürich. When you are faced with tricky challenges, one of our senior colleagues comes to help you and makes sure you expand your expertise continuously.

    • You repair bikes independently with everything that goes with it (inspection, fault finding, repair, quality control)

    • Together with your colleagues, you prepare bikes for delivery to our customers and support the deliver @ home process.

    • You can convert into a fixed position over time if both parties are interested.

    Due to the large selection of different bikes (mountain bikes, road bikes, city bikes, cargo bikes; heavily used to almost new), the job remains varied and highly challenging.

  • CycleLab is busy launching it’s first workshop in Zürich. At the same time, we are planning expansion into other Swiss cities. For our future locations in Basel, Berne and Lucerne, we are looking for workshop managers.

    In this exciting and enterpreneurial role, you oversee all activities in your team while contributing hands-on with your experience and your know-how to delivering first in class service quality. Together with your team of mechanics, you run the entire repair and service process of a bike and oversee logistics as well as procurement of spare parts. You coach and develop your team members to become service KOM's who overachieve customers' expectations. Whatever you do, customer satisfaction is your highest priority!

    In addition to running your shop, you are in constant contact with the COO and your colleagues from other CycleLab locations to improve the customer experience and optimze the group's processes and systems. Hence, you are not afraid to use modern software tools, challenge the status quo and try innovative approaches for existing challenges. You can do what you do best while being supported by the HQ with marketing, HR, accounting, etc.
